Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US
Apparently today is the anniversary of the receipt of the PDB (President's Daily Brief, which, oddly, has nothing to do with presidential underclothing) arguably warning of looming attack. On August 6, 2001, while on vacation, after loosing an election but getting sworn in anyway, President Bush received a memo warning of possible attack on American soil, and did nothing.
Yeah, I know, you've seen Fahrenheit 9/11, so you've seen that before. I just thought it was a handy reminder of how we got here.
