Vancouver Falun Gong Protest

There has been a protest vigil outside the Chinese embassy for over six years.

Falun Gong practitioners claim to be victims of Chinese government repression, including torture and murder.

The city of Vancouver is attempting to have the protest removed from the front of the Chinese embassy because structures are not allowed to be built on public property.

The BC Civil Liberties Association argues the protest be allowed to continue as long as there is a human rights concern.
